Accessibility Statement

This website was designed to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, as referenced by the harmonised standard EN 301 549. According to our self-assessment, these requirements are largely met; the known limitations are listed below. The requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882, have also been taken into account.

• In the automated test, colour contrast is at least 4.5 to 1 for normal text and 3 to 1 for large text.
• All links, buttons and form fields can be reached with the keyboard; the focus is clearly visible.
• Form fields have visible labels; error messages appear as text right next to the field.
• If “reduce motion” is set in your operating system, the website shows still images instead of animations and videos; all content remains available.
• The “Pause motion” button in the footer stops all animations and videos that play on their own, at any time.

• The “Inside the workshop” and “Craftsmanship” sections and the appointment section show silent videos without sound or information of their own, so they have no captions or audio description. All information is given in the text.
• For text placed over videos and images, contrast cannot be measured automatically. Such text sits on darkening overlays.

This assessment is based on a self-assessment carried out on 9 October 2026: automated testing with axe-core (rules for WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA) with “reduce motion” enabled, after scrolling through the whole page, at phone and desktop widths, plus a check of keyboard operation: every control on the home page was reached with the Tab key and checked for a visible focus indicator.
